Chat Commands

/equip <item>
Equip a weapon or armor from inventory
/skills
Open the skills menu (same as the K key)
/spend <skill>
Spend a skill point (e.g. /spend strength, /spend weapon mastery)
/wares
Show a merchant's shop list (alias: /list; use while talking)
/buy <item>
Buy from a merchant (use while talking)
/sell <item>
Sell to a merchant at half price (they only buy things they sell)
/give <item>
Hand an item to an NPC — they may recognise it
/accept
Take a job an NPC is offering (use while talking)
/deliver
Turn in a finished job to the NPC who gave it — or, for a courier job, hand the goods to the NPC they're addressed to
/quests
Print your quest journal in chat (same as the Q key; alias: /journal)
/rent
Inside a strongbox storage: rent a box, or trade up to the next size (paid once, yours for good)
/deposit <item>
Inside a strongbox storage: lock an item in your box (/deposit 2 torch bundle for some; no number = all). /withdraw takes it back out. B opens the box itself
/tip <N>
Drop N royals in the box of someone who lives on donations, like Bronson the ogre courier (use while talking; alias: /donate)
/use <item>
Consume an item (potions, food, rations)
/drop <item>
Drop an item on the ground
/drop <N> royals
Drop royals on the ground
/sleep
Rest at an inn or chapel to recover HP
/examine <thing>
Look at something in your pack or nearby (alias: /x)
/open <thing>
Open an adjacent trapdoor, hatch, chest, or other feature
/unlock <thing>
Same as /open, but uses the right key from your pack if the thing is locked
/close <thing>
Re-latch something you previously opened
